Christine is Principal Teacher at the Academy. A music and education graduate, who majored in Piano at degree level and then trained as a Professional Soprano under the jurisdiction of Birmingham Conservatoire, Nick Powell (RNCM) and Pamela Cook (MBE; OBE;) Musical Director of Cantamus Girls Choir.

Studied singing at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Norman Walker, Alexander Young, Denis Dowling and Prof. Brian Trowell.
A soloist in Opera, Light Opera, Oratorio, lieder recitals and concerts.

Christine has also worked in several Master Classes e.g. Ian Partridge, Patricia McMahon (RSCM) and Sarah Walker.
Christine is a fully qualified teacher, who holds an 'excellent' Ofsted report. Christine has spent time in both Primary and Secondary school, both teaching and in the role of 'Teacher Advisor', for which she qualified at Leicester University.
Christine thoroughly enjoys teaching and makes it her aim to nurture and encourage musical potential and development in every student. She uses her own experiences, both as a teacher and advisor in schools, alongside her performing experience as a Professional Soprano, to help develop confidence and self esteem in each individual.
Christine is Musical Director of Cantabile Youth Choir.
Christine hopes that all her students will develop a love of music and become confident and committed individuals.
